Assemblage Art: Part 4

Next month on July 10 I will be exhibiting at the annual Petaluma Art & Garden show here in our lovely, historic rivertown north of San Franciso. I’ll be bringing my assemblage pieces, some fun vintage goods, and if I can pull it off, some exciting Inspired Barn creative supplies. I’ll be sharing my booth with my friend Stephanie Sherratt of Paper Fabric Glitter. She creates the most fabulous vintage paper kits for crafting, collage, planners and more. Stephanie is also a show partner of the famous Halloween and Vine. If you’re into Halloween, mark your calendars now and get to Petaluma in September for the best of the best.Stephanie and I have both been working on things to sell at the Art & Garden show. Jeff and I did another quick barn pick this week at a source we have in Sonoma and found four pegboard panels that I thought would work great for displaying my art in the booth. I cleaned them up, painted them white, and hinged them together. I’m working on my set-up-practice-run inside the studio. I’ll paint the wine box pedestals white, and create even more art since I’ve got a bit more time to add to my gallery!

My art piece, “Sunday Drive” is currently on exhibit at the Arts Guild of Sonoma June Invitational as I am the guest of assemblage artist Linda Semple. The event runs today through July 4, 2016 in Sonoma, California.
